Any idea which Caterpillar this is?
Was tidying up and move a large plant pot. This was underneath.

Elephant - final instar before burrowing? Can still see the "warning" eyes.

Was it a fuschia or near one, by any chance? Hopefully it finds a suitable place to develop.

No, it was empty. But there are Fuschia's within 2 metres.

Its back!
I spotted it coming across the grass ( I can't call it a lawn ). It traveled about 16 feet from where I put it to get to these fallen Fuschia flowers and has spent the last two hours nibbling at them.

Likely to be its last supper as a caterpillar. The ones up here are just turning brown.
