This is only my second post in the forum, I think, and I am not a very active member on the site itself but love it for the community spirit here of sharing sightings and providing tips...which is why i felt i should share this lovely story of a man (and his late wife) in South India who are doing their bit (along with the entire village) to look after the coastal birds that nest there. Beat this, no grants from the govt., no initiative to drive tourism so that the villagers can get some income and continue with their conservation efforts.
