Any ideas?

The grass has a very flat profile!

Both found on edge of ploughed field on calcareous soil.... today.

Your second {right} pic is Phacelia. This species appeared in Daventry when the roundabout and junction had been redone.
I have seen this grown in fields and bees love it.
