Rosper Road Pools (1 Viewer)

Conservation is our Future
These Pools are situated on Rosper Road Immingham, Take the A160 Brocklesby Interchange off the A180, over first Roundabout, through the lights and over second roundabout, under the Bridge, turn left on to Rosper Road and the Pools are on the Right, Today i saw: Shovellers ( they're following me!) Teal, Mallard, Coot, Moor Hen, Mute Swan, Wood Pigeon, Collard Dove, Black headed Gulls. I really must get a scope when i can afford one..B :)
 
Grey Heron

Another addition to Rosper Road Pools was a Grey Heron that didn't stay around when i arrived, nothing different visible
 
Lapwing Flock

On the Pool this morning grazing on the shallow part, a flock of about a dozen Lapwings, also displaying. Shovellers were still present, also Shellducks, Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, Mute Swans (Think they are considering breeding, time will tell,) Carrion crow Pheasants (2 males) That's about it for today, next check Monday 28th

Quite quiet on the Pools today, The Pair of Mute Swans are still present, as is the flock of Shovellers, Mallard ares till present along with Moorhen and Coot Nothing else up yet, i think they sleep in on a Monday, will report again when anything new arrivesB :)
