Hi, I will be in Milan for a week soon and looking for any sites nearby that have Moltoni's Warbler, if anyone can help.

thanks in advance

Not sure if it is too late for an answer, but the closest site to Milan is probably the "Oltrepò Hills", about 1h and 30 min drive to the south. The general site is described in the booklet "A birdwatcher's guide to Italy", make reference to the villages of Momperone and Serra del Monte and their surroundings. Moltoni's Warbler is reasonably common with other good birds like Bee-eater, Roller, Woodlark, Red-Backed Shrike, Melodious Warbler, Honey Buzzard, Cirl and Black-headed Bunting (rare the latter). However all these species are quite easy in April-May but I am afraid they will be much less obvious in July, try very early in the morning.

regards Stefano
