Sigma 170-500 CPU chip compatability. (1 Viewer)

Cashie

Hello folks
United Kingdom
Has anyone herd of this CPU compatability problem With this Sigma lens 170-500.
I have been told that it might not work properly with a digital SLR, mine is the Nikon D100.

Chees Cashie B :)

I've heard of some problems with Canon cameras and some older Sigma lenses but I've personally not heard of any Nikon problems.

The people at Sigma have been very helpful when I've had questions. Try asking them on [email protected]

Some older Sigma lenses do need rechipping apparantly ,although i think all new ones are fully compatible. I use the 170-500mm lens on a Canon DSLR and it is fine
