Ruby throated humming birds! (1 Viewer)

I am new to the forum. I have a few feeders here in Ohio and took a few pix of some hummingbirds! Enjoy! Some are posted on photobucket and the other is uploaded regular.

Wow! After seeing all your pics I can see how you keep yourself off the streets, out of trouble and happily occupied. Lots of really nice fish and some of the most unusual guitars I have ever seen.
I am surprised that your Buddlea is in bloom already. The butterflies were a treat as well.

Thanks for sharing,
Dana

thanks! I just joined so these pix are from last year or the year before. The buddlea is not in bloom yet but I put like 6 of them in my yard in diff colors and planted wildflower mix! I always try to attract hummers or butterflies! Now i am on to other birds! Calling them in with my phone and getting pix! Will keep ya posted on new stuff once my flowers bloom! so far just the wall flowers are popping up. I posted in the butterfly section also but you prolly seen the pix if ya went through my pix! I love fly fishing also!

BTW, What kind of snakes were those?

Buddlea is considered an invasive specie so keep your eye on that. I have them in my yard too but never had them spread unless I propagated them. Great for both butterflies and hummingbirds.
Here, Lantana (in pots) attracts both really well, too.
