I am a nature nut, I operate a wildlife control business in Connecticut https://wildlifecontrolct.com/ and am always interested in learning another aspect of my trade. I do some bird work, mostly hazing woodpeckers off of homes, and rescuing the occasional wood duck or morning dove from a chimney. In my trade I have learned that wild animals do not follow our books. Real world accounts are what I am here to read about.

Hi there RF and a warm welcome to you from those of us on staff here at BirdForum :t:

Hi RF and a warm welcome from me too.

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I hope to hear about all the birds you see when out and about.

Welcome RF and you will find much of interest here. For sure the birds over this side of the pond don't always seem to have read the bird books either!
