DIY Adaptor for a Kodak z740 to B&S Spotting Scope (1 Viewer)

I have a Barr and Stroud Sahara 20-60x80 Spotting scope and a couple of digital cameras, a compact Kodak and my favouritite, a Kodak Z740.
Has anyone any experience using either of these combinations, if so, what adaptor is most suitable?
BTW, I do realise that my choice of equipment may be criticised by some; in my defence let me say that I'm in my mid-seventies and on a budget!
Grateful for any help you can give, particularly from anyone who has successfully made a cheap DIY gadget!
