House Finch Abandoned Nest it Not? (1 Viewer)

We have had a house Finch Nest on our Boston ferns hanging on our front porch. There were four eggs in it, and it's been like that for about two weeks. We had a storm Tuesday night and my husband was worried about the ferns, so he went to check on them, and the mama bird flew out around 10 PM. We really haven't seen her since then. I've only seen her in the maybe once or twice since Tuesday. She's normally there every day in and out. She will often fly out when we open and close the front door. Could she have abandoned the four eggs?
