Hi Chris. That sounds great to me and I’m sure the locals would not mind. I know there has been a big debate about its identity.
Just one Hobby through the tower so far today photographed by Dani.

A delightful walk around my local park this morning and again this afternoon. A beautiful sunny day with lots of wild flowers still. Common Redstart, Turtle doves, Pied flycatchers, Thekla larks, four Woodchat shrikes, Hoopoe, Wryneck, Stone Curlews calling and Nightingales singing from just about every bush. Quite nice. Mike

Spotted flycatchers now arriving, Pep saw a Montagu’s Harrier at Maria de la Salut and a few Golden orioles have been seen. Also a couple of dazzling blue Rollers. More to come I hope. Can Cuarassa is the best place to see them, early May sitting on the overhead cables. Mike

-Today in S’Albufera: 3 Sacred Ibis flying above the Visitor Center, at least 2 Temminck Stints, 2 Curlew Sandpipers, Whimbrel, very close up views of 2 Marbled Ducks, a male Garganey.

Meeting up with Kevin and Phil in the south was fun. Firstly at the Cap de Ses Salines, 13 Oystercatcher flew east, a good number for this scarce bird in Mallorca.
A superb all dark Eleanora’s falcon kept us company for a while.
Then to Sant Jordi salt pans where Phil found a Sanderling.
Later at the saltpans, Salobrar, Curlew sandpiper, Wood sandpiper, some Garganey and a Marsh sandpiper which I failed to see. Lots of Little stint and 90 Flamingoes.
