Can someone tell me what the fate of these animals probably was? I know there are still places in America where they have an annual event where they go out and kill as many as they can so it would perhaps be no surprsie to find that these were now a few pairs of cowboy boots.

I have very mixed feelings about this if they were killed, that is a lot of animals under one house, all capable of killing an adult, child or family pet but I'm sure there is plenty of room in Texas to safely release them.
