Dear friends please check these photos and tell me what kind of Shrike species these photos? I took these photos in Tehran, Iran, Are these photos are Brown Shrike?

I don't think this is a Brown Shrike for a few reasons:
- Brown mask, similar to crown. Brown shrike typically has a much blacker mask than this.
- Square-ended tail, not as rounded as on Brown.
- Fairly slender bill.
- Clean white underparts with narrow dark bars. On Brown the underparts are often warmer (slightly buffy) tone with more prominent bars when these are present.

Overall, I would suggest that this bird is a better fit for a Red-backed Shrike, which I think is probable also more likely in Iran.
