Chameleons from Kruger Park (1 Viewer)

Hi Jan,
Both images are of Chamaeleo dilepis (Flap-necked Chameleon) which is probably the most widespread chameleon in subequatorial Africa.
Both images show the flaps which extend from the back of the head. The first image is of a male (note the hemipenal bulges at the base of the tail).
The second image is of a non-gravid female (gravid (egg-carrying) females show a much more vivid colouration with very prominent spotting).

Best wishes,
Steve
