Hi all,

I just happened upon this site while looking for some camera tips for bird photography but I got hooked at once. Awesome site both for tips and photos. I was a keen birder in my younger years but I had to put this hobby aside because of work, family and more work (although whenever I could get outdoors I took a pair of binoculars with me). Now, however the old longing for the feathered creatures is back and I may have a bit more time, too -- that is why I am here. I hope to find lots of useful advice and pure enjoyment here. Thanks for reading this.

Hi Yilane and a warm welcome to you on behalf of the Staff and Moderators

I'm sure you will enjoy it here and I'll look forward to seeing some of your pictures in the Gallery too.

Hi Yilane, Welcome to birdforum, had a fabulous time in Hungary last year and met up with my hungarian friends. Took some great photos when I stopped at Keszthely Lake Balaton. Will return one day. Hope to see some of yours photos in the gallery.
