Strangely – no Metallic Starling, which seemed to be everywhere in this area, no pond herons... Also, i could not find an Alpine Chough on any pass...
Asian Openbill #173, Purple Heron #174. Can't make out the flying birds!

Excellent, thanks! I'll add African Openbill #175; African Fish Eagle #176, and Red-billed Teal #177 (couldn't make them out in 1st pic, but got them in 2nd!), and Pippohotamus :t:
Others I could make out there include Egyptian Geese, Helmeted G'fowl, Blacksmith Lapwing and Little Egret, all already got.
Is this one a Black Heron?

I wish I had a photo in this quality of it...

Edit: And the smalest animal I found til now. A flying bug or bumblebee or...

So finding Goldcrests or Hummingbirds should be no problem :)
Wow!! #178.

On insects, there's one long stretch in Northumbs where there's a squashed fly or something stuck to the camera lens for many km :-O very blurred though.

Shoveler

Lots of variety (mostly already on the list) around this pool - but not all wild birds (Ostriches and the Cranes at the least - it was a Safari Park but now marked as closed on the map - which does explain the antelopes below the trees a bit further on). At least one Wagtail on the road. Possibility someone will be able to pick out something we've not got yet.

I'll leave out the Crowned Crane then 3:)

EDIT: saw the 'temporarily closed' on the map, seen that on numerous other places, I suspect it's a covid-19 closure, not a 'permanently shut' thing :t:

This one? I'd say White Wagtail, tho' it does look a bit dark, blackish?
