Various Moths - Georgia - May 2018 (1 Viewer)

I lacked any real discipline to look at moths in Georgia generally and have not done any research since. In case anyone has any experience of such things, anyone with any ideas on the two different Foresters and the Burnet attached? They were not far from Tblisi being Bodorna 06.05.18 and the latter two Lake Tblisi 09.05.18.

The final one - a Pale Eggar type - was from Steppe at Chachuna 10.05.18.

Many thanks

Paul

Burnet may be Transparent Burnet Moth Zygaena purpuralis

First Forester type may be Adscita (Adscita) geryon or Cistus Forester

Many thanks. Seen a few Transparents on the Burren and this struck me as a bit more robust. I'll look at the possibilities.

All the best
