Mistle Thrush singing - early? (1 Viewer)

We've had a series of very overcast days here, but today there's some nice sunlight breaking through. This morning a Mistle Thrush was singing; sounded like he was just warming up, phrases of 2-3 notes max. Is this quite early for MT song? I'd have thought they usually kick off in early February.
