Thanks. I'm going to pass on the geese, too. For what it's worth, Canada Goose has the most eBird reports to date of geese from coastal Washington/nw Oregon this month. But this doesn't mean that you photographed that species.

I feel on the second image of geese that some of the outstretched necks look black enough for Canada, but I do not think there is enough in the image to be 100% sure.

Are they geese though? From the second picture I get the feeling of Northern Pintail

Perhaps two different flocks were photographed. I agree, the second photo doesn't look all that goose-like.
