Just received an email telling me that Birdguides has been sold to the owners of Birdwatch magazine, Warner Group Publications Plc on May 9th. Wonder how this will affect the birding scene?

dont reckon it will. gave up subscribing to birdguides about year ago. plenty of news freely available like local websites, twitter on rare bird network and birding today etc some links - http://www.rarebirdnetwork.co.uk/p/getting-started.html and http://www.birdingtoday.co.uk/online_bird_news_2.html
