Mya-Rose aka BirdGirl on Inside Out SW (1 Viewer)

A good, but far too short, item on Mya-Rose (aka BirdGirl) on BBC's "Inside Out South-west" (see link below starts at 19.30). She's doing great work making birding, and an interest in wildlife in general, more inclusive. Far too many of us (in the UK at least) are male, middle-aged/old, white and m/c so if we don't broaden the appeal of birding/wildlife to embrace the young and all sectors of society then the hobby will die .... perhaps deservedly so! It's sickening that a tiny minority in our community cannot see beyond her ethnicity/religion and rather than supporting her efforts chose to troll her.
