Would this be a kestrel or could it be a Saker Falcon, taken in Vienna this week

Your best, if difficult, chance of Saker is probably 40-50km east-southeast of Vienna in the border area between Niederösterreich and Burgenland, where on a few of the many power-line pylons** that cross this area, Sakers may nest on existing structure or in nestboxes. There is no vehicle access to much of this area except on existing transit roads, but there are some cycle paths. You'll need a lot of luck!

**I would guess that there are easily in excess of 200 pylons...
