Hi All

I have 4 moths that I need help with.
1/ I am 99% certain that it is a Kent Knot-horn (Which would be a very good moth for Glos)
2/ Fairly confident that its a Seraphim
3/ My best guest is Sandy Carpet
4/ The last no idea... (could just be a warn something)

1/ Kent Knot-horn Pempelia Obductella
2/ Seraphim Lobophora halterata
3/ Sandy Carpet Perizoma flavofasciata
4/ Unknown

Many thanks for your help in advance.
Richard

Hi Richard
I'm 99.9% certain that it isn't a Kent Knot-horn as your specimen has strong cross-lines and two dark discal spots. However, it's difficult to tell from that angle just what it is. I don't suppose you have any other photos of it?

Hi Martin.
I did not get any more photos of the Kent Knot-horn. I was just getting it out of the trap it was a bit lively and lost it.
Richard

Many thanks for your help

The moths are as follows....
Beautiful Knot-horn - Rhodophaea formosa
Seraphim - Lobophora halterata
Grass Rivulet - Perizoma albulata
Warn somethings poss Small Square-spot

I had a Rusty-dot Pearl last night..

Cheers, Richard
