Be Aware - Salmonella/Pine Siskins in the South East (1 Viewer)

Right now it seems to be concentrated in North Carolina, but there appears to be a good size outbreak of Salmonella in the Pine Siskins.

The big thing is to go ahead and dump out your feeders of remaining seed if you have seen a sick bird, and clean the feeders. Clean up hulls and seed on the ground, and make sure to use gloves!! That may help if your birds are showing these signs.

So far, no reports of the sick Siskins in South Carolina but keep an eye out please.
