digiscoping/nikon (1 Viewer)

i have a nikon8700 camera and a nikon 80 spotting scope does anybody know of the best and cheapest way to link the two for the best digiscoping results.i know its a shot in the dark especially in the uk,but any clue would be greatly received

You might want to duplicate your query in the digiscoping forums as it will probably get more attention in that forum ;)
 
Welcome to Birdforum. The Nikon 8700 is not suitable for digiscoping due to it's long zoom. One of the digicams with a 3/4 x zoom is the most suitable. There is plenty of discussion on this in the Digiscoping forum.Neil.
