This case has been in the works for almost one year. Just a quick rehash for those who not familiar with the case. Several dead fledgling terns washed ashore last year in Long Beach, California. Investigators discovered that the terns came from one of two barges located in the harbor. News reporters went to the second barge to get footage for their articles, then a few days later more dead terns washed ashore and to everyones horror the second barge had been cleared of the nesting birds. I am putting in the link of one of the newscasts from last year where they pan across the remaining barge full on nesting Elegant and Caspian Terns, and I'm also including the summary from that year. The last link will be recent events.
