Is this a fly? It had remarkable forelegs which it would use to impersonate a praying mantis type presumably for mimicry/self-defence.

Anyone recognise it or narrow it down.

Looks like a mantidfly species - order Neuroptera. Awesome little insects.
I come across them in Thailand from time to time.
