This was a BIG bird . It flew up into a Pine Tree with a chunk of bread, and I snapped him as he left his Perch.
Taken in Saskatchewan , Canada this Tuesday

Yes, I think this is a Raven. Note the wedge shaped tail and large bill.

Yup a beautiful Raven, big black bill-great wedge tail.

Definitely Common Raven. Just the size/weight of the bill alone, but the "wedge" of the tail, as others have said, is also diagnostic. Such great birds!
