Warbler ID, Lands End, UK.

I was at Lands End on Tuesday trying to photograph a Short-eared Owl at Treeve Moor (seems that it had already gone), when I took a few shots of a warbler (link below).

With just a couple of brief glimpses in harsh early afternoon sunlight, combined with my pathetic ability to ID warblers, I assumed it was just a Whitethroat, maybe Lesser.

However, looking at the photos this evening I'm not so sure, and would be grateful for any suggestions (civil ones if you can please! ).

Thanks,
Matt

It's a Common Whitethroat (nice pic!)

Thanks Deborah.

The harsh light made processing a bit difficult, and the throat doesn't stand out in the photo as much as it did to the eye.

Cheers,
Matt

Look at all the rufous tones in the wings though.
