Silent (magnetic closures) and harness makes it a breeze if you are trekking across hard terrain.
I also have the optech neoprene, https://www.adorama.com/otbirmn.html which I don't use trekking but just for storage as the Zeiss Tera 8x42 didn't have a case.

Hello Adam,
Have to agree with Pileatus on the Vortex Viper soft cases. Well made with a case carry strap, internal zipper pocket for small accessories and plenty of space for both binos and neck strap. I use these in the field and the fast opening heavy duty clasp makes for quick viewing deployment. Have my EL10X50SV in the 50mm case (see pic) and my EL8X32SV in the smaller version.
HERE is the 42mm size, however not sure if they are available in the UK?!
