I got the 10x32s a week ago and am very happy with the choice.

I had the zeiss 8x32 fl, but needed a little higher mag due to aging eyes and some loss of detail (early cataracts) and new binoculars seemed like a more fun idea than surgery
very good optics, maybe not quite to edge performance, a little color, a little shake, but sharp detail, comfortable to use, light wt, a good compromise

not quite as good as the alphas, but 1/3 to 1/4 the cost

Cateract surgery is pretty amazing. Tost all my old binoculars away and bought some that really work now that I can see the difference.

Hello Edwin,

Ophthalmically, I am in the same boat. I am awaiting the right time for cataract surgery. My problem is that I cannot use a 10x, for more than a few moments, at a time. So, I carry two binoculars, a 10x32 and something less strong, like a 7x or 6.5X. Otherwise, I stick to an 8x.

Happy bird watching,
Arthur :hi:
