Site guide for California (1 Viewer)

For Southern California, A Birder's Guide to Southern California by Harold Holt is well worth getting. I believe there is a quite recent new edition, but I got on well with the older one (only had to find out how to get to Santa Cruz Island). For Monterey, Don Roberson's Monterey Birds is excellent.
Further north: don't get the guide by the Westrich's, it's useless. There is a thread on guides for Northern CA in this forum somewhere.
