it seems too big for a coal tit and the wrong chest colour for a great tit. Any ideas most welcome!

i'm a newbie at identification, so thank you for being patient!

Looks like a Great Tit to me.

The other one is a greenfinch.

It's a juvenile great tit. Cheeks and chest are lemon-yellow, wings are greenish rather than blue.

Welcome to birdforum - I agree it looks like a Great Tit. The coal tits I have seen have a white stripe on the back of the head.
