Hello everybody, Just a few words from the purpleflanger. I got intrested in birds in January this year, after watching a Kingfisher polish of 3 of my goldfish from my small pond. I cant catch them with a net, but he had no problems, 3 strikes 3 fish. Thats all for now, bye.

Hi Purpleflanger, welcome to birdforum from all the staff here, hope you enjoy the site. Wow, that's some bird to have in your garden. I know some begrudge a Heron swiping the fish but I'm sure few would have a problem with this jewel whizzing around your pond.
Regards,
Andy

Hi Purpleflanger, welcome to BirdForum.

I nearly lost fish to a kingfisher in the garden once. The pond was netted to keep the herons off so it failed. Great garden bird !

Hi and welcome to the forums. How lucky are you? A kingfisher on the garden list!! Wow!! Hope you enjoy Bird Forum.
