Looking for a 10x waterproof bin with a wide(ish) fov. Objective 32 or 42 but the lighter the better. £500 budget. Any recommendations. Ger.

Is 574g light enough? The Meopta Meostar 10x32 can be found to £500 id you hunt around.

The lightest I can think of is the Opticron Traveller Mg 10x32 at 370g and much cheaper. Not particularly wide or comparable quality of view to the Meostar, but 200g lighter is a big difference.

very pleased with mine. I'd be giddy if they had less free travel of the focus wheel.

smallish size for a 10x42, and the price is great imo.

Opticron SE is a fantastic binocular, used them for a while now great FOV for a 10x42, worth a look

I recently got a pair of Minox hg 8x33 so I'm looking for a 10x pair for seawatching and for birding in open areas. The Meoptas are a bin that caught my eye. Ger.

I would go 10x42, though I do have a useable 10x36 but it has cheap mechanical parts.

The places I know about are all down south. I would give Marchwood a call. They are the distributors and should be able to tell you who in your area might stock them.

Are you talking about the Meopta's 10x42 or 10x42 in general. Ger.
