Hi, I thought I should introduce myself on here.

I've just posted my first few pictures in the Birds of Africa section (just had my honeymoon in Kenya).

I bought my first dslr this year and invested in a 500mm reflex lens for our safari in Kenya. I have to say it was the best £500 I've ever spent.

But, although I'm really pleased with some of my photos, judging by some of the shots on here, I have a heck of a lot to learn.

I live in Dunbar, East Lothian which is a fantastic area for birding. Can't say I'm an expert and I certainly don't get out as much as I should, but I'm learning all the time and anything I can glean from here, will be most welcome.

Thanks for the comments so far.

Jamie
