Siskins in Garden (1 Viewer)

We had about 8 Siskins in our Garden during the winter and they disappeared about a 4 - 6 Weeks ago. Three Days ago, we have had a pair turn up looking quite thin, so we are wondering if these are migrants. They turn up twice a day, to eat the sunflower hearts. Also to have a bath. Also we have two male and two female Bull Finches turning up each day. Robin, Dunnock again yesterday having a bath. As well as Blue Tits, Great Tits, What is also surprising us is we are having Magpie, Rook, and Raven appearing eating the sunflower hearts. As well as pigeons and occassionally the squirel, which no mater what we put up to stop him, he eventual gets to the table

my uncle has had the same, hes had a few siskin over the past few weeks but i dont think they have been seen for a few days. also he had a few redpoll turn up, one being a Common! plus another likely common.

Siskins will now be back on their breeding territorries, but that might be near to you! the pair you have now might be nesting close by, typically in conifers.

Here, Siskins are sumer visitors.
