Birdbox/Batbox (1 Viewer)

Hi, i'm about to build a new birdbox and was thinking to design in a space at the back which could be used by bats to roost (in the same way a kitchen cabinet sits against a wall). The bird/bat would have different access points and would be separated by 18mm of wood.

any reason why i shouldn't do this?

thanks

Jim
