Hi all,

As some of you know, Melissa and I are in the process of birding our way around Africa for the next 10 months. We started in South Africa and are working our way up the eastern side to Ethiopia before looping down through Zambia to Namibia/Angola and then back to South Africa. We also plan to fly to Ghana, Gabon, and Sao Tome/Principe.

Anyways, I don't know how often I'll be able to update here (i'll try, but wifi/data has been scare), but if you visit/subscribe to the blog, you'll get updates as they come out.

Also follow our instagram @budgetbirders to see more pics and stories from some of our trips (there's a good one on Mt Namuli people might enjoy!)
