7d for telephoto video (1 Viewer)

Hey,

I've been shooting a 7d with the 100-400 for awhile now. I've never tried video, which I will do soon. I'm probaably going to spring for a Mark II soon, but haven't yet. I want the Mark II because 1. - autofucus doesn't work on the Mark I when I have a tele-extender on, and of course other reasons - including 4k video. Since you can grab nice stills from 4k, it seems like something fun to learn. But - how do you hold the thing steady enough for video, especially hand held? Is it even possible? If you are doing this, I'd love to talk.

I want to have this figured out soon, since I'm going to Ecuador in July and want some good practice time.

Thanks,

Curt
