After a thread on the most dangerous bird it got me thinking of what bird or Birds look like their great great etc etc grandfathers before them.
I was fascinated by bill Oddies series last week on how the Dinosaur has evolved into a Bird.
Take the feathers away And replace with Crocodile Armour and you have 'jurassic parks' velocoraptors.
Many on the Dangerous bird thread mentioned the cassowary in Australia . I had never seen one so after looking at one i thought Dinosaur straight away.
Has anyone got a species that looks like their great grandparents?

Here is the Cassowary ! :eek!:

For my money the birds most looking like surely having reptilian ancestry are in genus Philemon. A good example, the Helmeted Friarbird.
