Moth id

Hi ive just moved into college dorms and seen a white shouldered moth. But can you tell me which one this is found on a trap

The moth shown is from the underside so, as Andy has stated, it's not possible from the photo.

It shows an intact abdomen so it could be identified from its genitalia by dissection - but no doubt you would need to get someone experienced to do it.
