Hi everyone,

I heard a thump on the large window here at work and looked out and saw this. I do not knw if the thump had anything to do with this bird or not. It didn't look like it had a bird in it's grasp when it flew off.

I was thinking Northern Goshawk, but others say a young Peregrine?

You guys are the experts! What is it really? =o)

PS - This is my first post, nice to meet you all!

I agree with Tero. At first I thought Cooper's because it looked like it was capped and it gave me the feel of one, but then I realized it was sitting between two (what I assume to be AC units?) if so the bird looks smaller.

Yes, those are AC units. I'd say the bird was similar in size to a crow... maybe a little smaller... 14-16" in height?
