Like last year, not a birding holiday (though I did manage a few hours in La Brenne) so no report, just a list.

france is pretty big....
i live in it and i have no idea where la brenne is......

would have been happy with some on your list mind.

still not many flycatchers here btw...

Dave

Looking at your list this is obviously not the same Brenne of a thousand lakes that I know.

Sorry rosbifs, sheer laziness, I should have said a bit more.

We spent two weeks in Meyrueis (Lozère) and the rest of the time was spent towing the caravan there and back from Roscoff.

Departments we visited were Finistère (4 nights), Côtes d'Armor, Morbihan, Ille-et-Villaine, Mayenne, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire (1 night), Vendée (1 night), Deux-Sèvres, Vienne, Indre (2 nights), Cher, Haute-Vienne, Allier, Puy-de-Dôme (2 nights), Corrèze (2 nights), Haute-Loire, Cantal, Lot, Aveyron, Lozère, Gard and Hérault.

La Brenne is in Indre department. I think I'll say a bit more about it on another thread <<<edit ... now done in the France forum >>>
