A Simple Nikon Fieldscope/ Coolpix Adapter (1 Viewer)

I made a very simple adapter that allows the connection between a Nikon Coolpix 9xx/4500. Very simple to make and use.

The materials are a small piece of 5/16" oak flooring, some silicone tubing (optional) and a velcro strap.

The real nice part is the lens of the camera fits exactly inside the extended rubber eyecup.

I will post the photos, since they explain it well.

I'm not a digiscoper, but this looks like a setup that would be quick and easy to make and use.

Very neat and simple idea. Well done. The metal filter thread on the 4500 is not touching the eyepiece glass I presume. Neil.
