I believe that your target bird is White-eyed Vireo. I also hear American Robin and Eastern Towhee.

I agree on White-eyed Vireo. Distinctive "chick" note at beginning and end with a slurred note in the middle.

Sandy Hook is actually in New Jersey and yes White-eyed Vireos are resident birds here,
