the first pic i can tell you the bird has a complete streaked chest, cheers all for the help i may be useless but i'm enthusiastic.:t:

Quick scan:
#1 is facing away, the streaks are on the back
#2 American Herring Gull (sitting), Ring-billed Gulls (close standing)
#3 Orange-crowned Warbler as KenM says
 
It also has a streaky chest as I can see in other picture, the gull in pic 5 as me confused unless it's a 3rd 4th phase bird.
 
as for #2: west coast herring gulls never show an all white p10 tip (mirror merged with white tip). that together with its dark iris (in an adult bird) makes this another california gull, one with a strong bill.
#4 also a california gull, 3rd cycle.
