eurasian reed warbler.

It soon may not be as clearcut as that, Lou.

According to Olsson et al 2016, Barcelona is in the area mapped as applying to Clade 4 of the revised reed warbler complex, taxon ambiguus (Brehm 1857); Olsson et al 2016 have refrained from proposing a taxonomic revision of the reed warbler complex, but are preparing a follow-up paper on this subject.

Taxon ambiguus occurs also in North Africa, but how far east isn't specified.

Perhaps 'Brehm's Reed Warbler' would be an apt English name?
