Just a quick introduction. I have be at this off and on since 1977, when on a whim purchased the Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Birds Eastern Region. I really shouldn't have done this as the bug really bit.
I subscribe the the adages when using forums “It's better to be quiet and thought a fool, than to open my mouth and remove all doubt” and when I was younger I enjoyed listening to my elders which my Grandmother gave me great advice “Be quiet, you might learn something”.
I will for the interim will be backyard birding due to the fact that I have a dog that has diabetes necessitating insulin injection and who is blind-I am the reverse of a seeing eye dog. Rather long-winded for an intro. Look forward to expanding my knowledge.
