Anyone up for a trip to the Gulf Coast of Alabama? (1 Viewer)

A link from the ABA brought me to an Alabama birding site & I got the bug to go. However there don't seem to be many birders from Southern Alabama in this forum or on Birding Pal (a site that helps match up traveling birders with knowledgable locals). If anyone reading this has birded Southern Alabama and would be willing to share their knowledge, please email me. I was planning to do a short trip there this month and wanted to get the most out of it. If anyone is interested in joining me to share costs of car rental etc. Please email.

Eek! a year late and who knows how many dollars short. I'm a former Californian who would be happy to give some advice if you ever come out this way. As we say here in AL, "Come see us." If you go to Dauphin Island in April, you won't be sorry.
